No clue.. it could end up a Synchrony Home Card... or a generic Synchrony card... similar to what happened with the toys r us mc... or they just close it

It gets better... it's very likely to be a 2% back card as well

Just saw that mine (MC dual card version) was closed - no warning.

You would think if Synchrony was interested in keeping accounts they would have done so with the Marvel accounts too yet they're closing them all.

We just used it beore they announced shut-down last April... so probably 1 year.

I've had SYNC to CLDs on cards I don't use often, always without notice, but never closed due to inactivity

TJX was reduced from 10k to 1,024 after a year of non-use, and immediately restored when I went online to do a CLI.

JCP was reduced from 10k to 2,000 after a year of non-use, and when I tried a CLI to reinstate it, it came back with a "no" due to lack of activity.

It does happen, though. I've had a combination of the 2 in the past for long periods of inactivity. Although, I would feel that with SYNCB/Steinmart, they would've notified customers about account closures if the CC program came to an end, much like Comenity does.
